Polar Express Celebration

Take off on a magical journey
Sunday, December 20, 2015!

Enjoy a day full of activities including skiing and riding, arts and crafts, holiday balloon creations by Tracey McFee, and a showing of the Polar Express movie. There will be plenty of hot chocolate, Polar Beverages and tasty treats to keep you smiling, and you might even catch a glimpse of Wachusett's own "Orson" the Polar Bear.

But what holiday celebration would be complete without a visit from Santa!? Santa will arrive around 1pm in his "Wachusett-style Sleigh." His elves will be there to hand out candy canes and singers will lead everyone in some holiday classics. This family-friendly event runs from 11:00am to 2:00pm and will be sure you put you in the holiday spirit. Costumes and holiday attire are certainly welcome!

A schedule for the day is as follows:

11:00am: Polar Express movie showing

11:30am-12:30pm: Arts and crafts activities
12:00pm-1:00pm: Holiday classics sing-a-long
1:00pm: Santa arrives to Wachusett*
1:15-2:00pm: Hot cocoa and visits with Santa

*Santa will arrive by 'sleigh' and we will load kids into the back for a ride around Wachusett with Santa after the meet & greet!
(Please note that we will not know if there will be a helicopter this year until the morning of the event - it is completely weather dependent. Let's hope for clear skies and calm winds).

Happy Holidays from your friends at Wachusett Mountain!!
