Our most popular fall festival celebration including over 100 craft exhibitors, a farmers' market, kids entertainment and peak fall foliage viewing from the SkyRide. Also enjoy live music, Apple Pie Baking and Eating Contests, along with additional family entertainment.

11th Annual Great New England Apple Pie Contest

Join this amateur-only, two division apple pie contest, now in its 11th year and continuing to grow!

Entrants receive two complimentary admission tickets to AppleFest and winners receive great prizes and the admiration of all their fellow bakers!

All submissions must be registered by 11am.

Bring in your used equipment to sell for cash or Wachusett credit, then grab something new, or at least new to you while you're here! Enjoy Craft beers outside along with a BBQ and live music! There's even a moonbounce  and the kids ski slope learning area!
 
There will be keg tossing and stein hoisting competitions as well. We'll also have our SkyRide running for the great fall foliage and craft and farmers' market vendors.
10th Annual BBQFest

Forget about the calories and enjoy the festivities! Enjoy an array of food specialties from assorted food trucks, sample some great craft beers and listen to live music. Between bites take a ride on the SkyRide to the mountain summit. This event is suitable for the whole family. We'll even have a moonbounce for the kids and some craft vendors for the adults.

Festival runs from 11am-5pm.

Wachusett Mountain creates the setting for this race where on a clear day features views of Mt. Monadnock in New Hampshire, the Berkshires to the west, and the Boston Skyline to the east. Runners will navigate the trails of Wachusett Mountain, summiting on multiple occasions before hopping on the Midstate Trail to Leominster State Forest home of scenic ridgelines and lakeshore views. The terrain ranges from rolling unpaved fire roads to more technical, single track and multi-use trails. Distances vary from 50 miles, 50K, Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. The 27th Annual Wachusett Mountain Race: 

For circuit scoring, you only need to run the 3 mile course to the top of Mount Wachusett. First one to arrive will be crowned

"King of the Mountain"

Continue on with us to the Finish line located at the bottom of the mountain to complete a total race distance of 10K!! 

Note: Those interested in circuit scoring who sign up for the 10k, will be timed at the 3 mile mark at the top of the mountain as well as the overall 10K race. The 3 mile time determines the male and female "King of the Mountain" and will also count towards circuit scoring for the USATF-NE Mountain Circuit.

Registration: Starts at 8:00am in the parking lot of the Wachusett Mountain Ski Resort
