Deadline March 1, 2020
  • Students must create a poster based on one or more of the seven elements of "Your Responsibility Code" or one of the three elements of SmartStyle.
  • Posters must be created only by an individual child.
  • Use this official entry form to submit entries, otherwise a 8 1/2″ x 11″ or 11″ x 17″ poster size is recommended.
  • Students should use pencil, crayon, paint and other materials (no macaroni) readily available in schools in their poster design.
  • Complete name, address, and telephone number in space provided on the front of the form (or else include the above information on the back of poster.)
  • Entry forms must be submitted on time - March 1, 2020
  • $50 COW card will be awarded to the best overall and most creative safety message. Winners will also be submitted to NSAA for national recognition.
  • Submit Poster and give to customer service by March 1st, 2020

Helmet Head Photo Contest

Now until January 31st

Wachusett’s Responsibility Code:

  1. Always stay in control and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
  2. People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
  3. You must not stop where you obstruct a trail or are not visible from above.
  4. Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
  5. Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
  6. Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
  7. Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.

School Program Safety Banner Contest

Encourage students to participate and help create a safety banner or display to present at Wachusett Mountain throughout the month of January. Winning school will receive $300 COW card toward a Pizza Party at end of season.

Contest Rules

    • Banner or display size: approx 2 feet x 4 feet
    • Banner Content: Graphically highlight the responsibility code or anything promoting safety while skiing or snowboarding. Include school name/group. Creativity Counts!
    • Display banner once completed at Wachusett table no later than Jan 27th. 
    • Submit photo of completed banner to [email protected] by Jan 31st
    • Winners announced Feb 7th


    • 1st place- $300 COW card toward end of season pizza party
    • 2nd place- $150 COW card
    • 3rd place- $75 COW card
