The 10th Annual Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation 5k Run/Walk!

The 5K is the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year, raising funds for safety awareness and violence-prevention initiatives. It attracts both serious and recreational runners and walkers from across the state (and beyond).

It’s a fun event! In addition to the 5K race, there is a Kids’ Fun Run and a post-race party including a DJ, food and beverages, raffles, and silent auction. The Foundation is so grateful for the support of its community – participants and sponsors.

The course at beautiful Wachusett Mountain is mostly flat with two short hills. Proceeds from the race will go to The Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

There will be plenty of parking, but please follow directions from the attendants as part of the racecourse goes through the lot and will close at 9:50 am while race is underway.

The Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation envisions a world where women live free from harassment. We strive to achieve this goal through education and advocacy on safety awareness and gender equality. Since our establishment in 2017, we have funded grants that educate and mentor youth on challenging the gender stereotypes that often lead to objectification against women and have educated hundreds of girls and women on safety awareness. Vanessa inspires our mission and fuels our continued efforts.
