Halloween is another New England favorite! Wachusett’s second weekend of AppleFest is a celebration of our favorite Fall holiday, featuring apple-flavored treats from candy to cocktails, and one of the most unique views of the peak Fall foliage in Massachusetts. Extended to two weekends due to popularity!

🍁 Hike, Ride & Relax – The ultimate Fall in New England experience! Start the afternoon with a guided hike of Wachusett Mountain and relax the rest of the afternoon at the second weekend of AppleFest. Find out more.

🎶 Live music all weekend long with shows starting 12pm and 2pm daily. See the full schedule below!
🧙♀️ It’s the season of the witch! The spooky and spectacular Witches of Witchusett are haunting the grounds this weekend dancing and collecting donations.
🪓 Test your skills with Keene Axe NH throwing axes (and a few other surprises!) free from 12:00pm to 4:00pm daily.
🪄 Daily Magic & Circus Shows, contests, and roaming entertainment.
🎃 Spooky specials! Come dressed in your Halloween best and enter the costume contest.
🫧 Bring on the competition with free rounds of Bubble Soccer from 12:00pm to 3:00pm daily. What’s Bubble Soccer, you ask? Come find out, you’re going to have a ball!
🍺 The most beer of the year. Seasonal pumpkin ale, cider, IPAs, and more from all our local brewery favorites.
🍔 Fantastic food trucks serving up everything from egg rolls to caramel corn.
🛍️ Local Crafters Market inside & outside with over thirty-five booths selling homemade jam, handmade jewelry, and more.
🍂 Our scenic Skyride is the best view on the mountain and foliage is at peak for the season. A peaceful ride to the summit on the brand new Polar Express, with a 360° view of the valley.
Parking is free! As a friendly reminder, we do not allow dogs (except service animals) or coolers at our festivals. Lawn chairs are allowed and encouraged. Festivals run rain or shine. Ticket prices increase for day-of sales (Day-Of $18 per Adult, $13 per Junior, Children 5&Under are Free to Enter). Tickets are non-refundable.
Ride the train and enjoy Fall Festival Fun! Our shuttle will meet the 11:51 AM MBTA Commuter Rail train at Wachusett Station, departing North Station at 10:15 AM. Return transportation will leave the festival at 4:00 PM in time for the 4:25 PM train. View the train schedule here. Reserve your shuttle seat below for $5 per person—you’ll receive the full $5 back as a voucher to use during the festival!
